Our Objectives

1. Forming a powerful mass organization by bringing all Sri Lankans together in order to create “Think Tanks” to focus on different sectors and contribute towards the drafting of national plans in the said sectors while exploring new opportunities to generate foreign exchange.


2. In order to secure short term, mid-term and long-term solutions for the difficulties currently faced by Sri Lanka in the re-payment of loans obtained, to further continue discussions with creditor countries, institutions and all connected parties to find a practical way forward and to assist the government and be a partner in the implementation of such solutions.


3. Prepare a national level program to transform Sri Lanka into a developed country with the involvement and the blessings of the people and to get together with state and private sector to develop science and technology in schools, higher education institutes and universities and establish Science and Technology parks in every province of Sri Lanka.


4. Forming a special academic and research group to conduct a thorough study on Constitutions, Administrative structures and Ministries of other countries and to align its findings with the requirements of Sri Lanka and to update and develop knowledge on each subject area with the support of the said research group and to prepare a proper program to obtain the cooperation of Sri Lankan expatriates and citizens of the aforesaid countries for the Peoples Research and Development Committees to be established.


5. To assist in publishing research papers and theses drawn by academics of universities and higher educational institutes related to development of Sri Lanka and to enter into Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) and assist in using such knowledge in the society.


6. To contribute towards a national reconciliation assured national development by providing equal opportunities based on knowledge with no consideration towards gender, race, religion or cast.


7. To establish strategic mechanisms to develop Sri Lanka.


8. To Create a divisional and national level platform to discuss issues faced by the public openly and to find credible solutions and to list out requirements of the people on priority basis.


9. To Encourage the public and experts in relevant fields to think out of the box and create new concepts, educate the masses on science and technology in order to change their wrong attitudes and wrong habits and to create nation loving, non self-oriented, kind and sensitive individuals through character building.


10. Motivating people to work collectively and to promote team work among them and to have the people’s involvement in the preparation of Local Government, Provincial Council and the National budgets.


11. To encourage, make aware, feed and strengthen the people with skills in order to obtain their active involvement in the decision making process of the future of Sri Lanka.


12. By way of utilizing media and obtaining the maximum support of the social media activists to make the people, planners and officials to scientifically realize the value and the advantages of friendly and extensive dialogs and discussions in working towards the betterment of the country rather than being divided with political ideologies, criticizing and opposing the government on all activities, organizing labour unrest/ industrial action work strikes and wasting valuable time with useless debates.


13. To have close relationships with alternative groups, entrepreneurs and individuals in different fields and to provide guidance and support to them to build a developed Sri Lanka alongside obtaining their views and ideas for the betterment of activities of this institution.


14. To secure the rights of the Sri Lankan diaspora within the country and outside in order to obtain their direct contribution towards the development of Sri Lanka.


15. To take action to educate the authorities on the required amendments to the currently prevailing mechanism on Local Government elections, Provincial Council elections, Parliamentary election and the Presidential elections, appointing/terminating representatives to such institutions and the prevailing mechanisms on registering new political parties at the Election Commission by obtaining views and proposals of all political party representatives and also from the public.


16. To take action to introduce required structural amendments to the preparation of a new Constitution to Sri Lanka and / or legal reforms by analysing data obtained through Peoples Research and Development committees and avoid a repetition of ethnic and religious conflicts that took place in the past.


17. Initially to discuss with Sinhala, Tamil and Muslim political parties to arrive at a consensus to introduce required reforms to the Provincial Councils and Local Government institutions and secondarily to induce and encourage the Sri Lankan Government to commence friendly and cordial discussions with other parties who were involved in the said system at historical junctures.


18. To take action to arrive at an agreement with relevant authorities regarding the mechanism in issuing licenses to network systems, communication frequencies including radio and television channels by having consultations with public and relevant authorities on the amendments required.


19. Electing disciplined, creative and law abiding leaders committed to law and constitutional reforms to :

  • Build a framework to create future leadership
  • Develop a law abiding nation in a creative manner
  • Contribute towards formulating strict conditions to manage government funds under strict financial discipline and accountability to maintain state affairs transparently
  • Eradicate corruption
